Open-World Action Adventure ini telah dirilis pada tahun 2013 untuk konsol PS3 dan Xbox 360, disusul di tahun berikutnya untuk PS4 dan Xbox One. Sayangnya, rilis versi untuk PC telah ditunda 2 kali, GTA V versi PC seharusnya rilis pada 27 Januari 2015, tetapi diundur menjadi 24 Maret 2015. Di versi PC, GTA V akan menghadirkan beberapa fitur baru seperti mode First-Person, penambahan beberapa soundtrack baru dan 4K TV Support.

Rockstar telah mengumumkan Grand Theft Auto V akan dirilis pada PC pada tanggal 24 Maret, bukan pada tanggal 27 Januari seperti perkiraan sebelumnya.
